Tedd Tripp has been the Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania since June 1983. For several years, he served as a counselor for Christian Counseling and Education Foundation. Tedd and his wife, Margy, founded Immanuel Christian School in 1979, where he also served as a teacher and principal for four years. He continues to serve as the administrator on the board of Immanuel Christian School. Since 1994, Tedd has maintained an extensive ministry as a conference speaker and presenter of Shepherding a Child's Heart seminars.
The son of Jack Wyrtzen, Dave says his life passion is to be used by the Holy Spirit to move others toward intimacy with the biblical Christ. To accomplish this, he proclaims the gospel and teaches the Word of God as an author, radio broadcaster, and an international speaker. His radio program, "Truth Encounter," challenges its audience to intimacy with the biblical Jesus by presenting the reality of God's Word through in-depth, easy-to-understand studies of God's Word. Dave Merkh and his wife, Carol Sue, have been Word of Life missionaries since 1985, serving in Brazil at Word of Life Bible Seminary. He coordinates the Master of Ministries degree program and teaches a full course load, including Greek, Homiletics, Christian Home, and Proverbs. Dave and Carol Sue have authored 14 books on family and ministry.
Dr. Woodrow Kroll is President and Senior Bible Teacher for the international media ministry, Back to the Bible. The Back to the Bible radio broadcast can be heard by more than 50 percent of the world's population every day. Dr. Kroll is the author of more than 50 books. His passion to increase Bible literacy in America by engaging people in the Bible, and his clear, incisive teaching of the Word keeps him in demand as a speaker all over the world.
David began serving as Pastor of LCBC Church (Lives Changed By Christ) in Manheim, Pennsylvania in February 1991. As LCBC continues to grow, David reminds the church of its goal – seeing Lives Changed By Christ. Because of its work around the world, in 2008 David and LCBC received "The Courageous Leadership" award. David and his wife, Ruth, live in Lititz, Pennsylvania and have two children.
Wendell Calder was a pastor for 16 years. He is the Founder of Local Church Evangelism, a ministry offering evangelism and teaching to local churches. He also travels internationally as an evangelist and Bible teacher, and is part of the Adjunct Faculty of the Word of Life Bible Institute.
A native of Bangalore, India Chris worked as an electrician in the MICO factory for three years before his theological studies at the Word of Life Bible Institute and School of Youth Ministries (New York). In June 2009, he was appointed as the Director of Outreach To Asia Nationals (OTAN).
Dr. Ware is President of Crossroads Bible College, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Bible Church that meets at the college. Dr. Ware speaks regularly in churches, Christian schools, colleges, seminaries, missions conferences, camps, prisons, and at civic functions in the United States and abroad. He also serves as a consultant on racial reconciliation and leadership and has spoken at chapels for the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76'ers and assists the chaplain of the Indianapolis Colts.
In 1986 Stephen Davey planted Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, North Carolina and has served as the Pastor/Teacher throughout its history. In addition to his pastorate, Stephen is Founder and President of Shepherds Theological Seminary.
Since January 1980, Erwin Lutzer has served as the Senior Pastor of The Moody Church in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to his pastoral ministry, he is the speaker on three popular radio broadcasts. As an author, Lutzer has written more than 30 books, including his book about The Da Vinci Code, called The Da Vinci Deception, which was featured on national broadcasts both in secular and Christian markets.
Phil has served as the teaching-pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Mullica Hill, New Jersey for 16 years. Besides his teaching responsibilities at FBC, Phil has enjoyed the opportunity to teach the Bible to undergraduate students in New York, Germany, and Hungary. He also considers it a special privilege to teach graduate students preparing for the ministry in Ukraine and Albania.
Ray Pritchard serves as President of Keep Believing Ministries. He is a frequent conference speaker and guest on Christian radio and television talk shows. He has written 27 books, including Stealth Attack, Fire and Rain, The Healing Power of Forgiveness, An Anchor for the Soul, and Credo: Believing in Something to Die For. For 26 years he pastored churches in Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago. Ray keeps a full schedule traveling internationally to speak to and encourage the body of Christ to "keep believing in Jesus."
Pastor Mac Brunson has served as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida since 2006. Committed to missions and ministry, Pastor Brunson has led FBC Jacksonville to continue its support of pastors through the annual Jacksonville Pastors' Conference, to increase financial support of missions and missionaries around the world, to educate students through the First Baptist Academy of Jacksonville, and to serve the community through special projects and a satellite campus in St. John's County.
Jimmy joined with Jack Wyrtzen and Harry Bollback here at Word of Life for the first 12 years of his ministry. He resided in Jerusalem for 18 years as a journalist and has been seen on the Day of Discovery television program. Jimmy is a noted conference speaker and has authored many books, including his bestselling book, Sound The Trumpets.
Stanley Toussaint is a pastor-teacher committed to expository preaching and enjoys both roles. He has taught at Dallas Theolgical Seminary, Dallas Texas since 1960, has pastored for more than 20 years and ministered in the pulpit literally around the world.
John Barnett has been teaching the Word of God for 31 years. Called to the ministry as a young man—his passion remains prayer and the ministry of God's Word. Having ministered the Word in 40 nations around the world, John's ministry is deeply touched by outreach and evangelism. John launched a ministry in 1998 called Discover the Book Ministries. He is also an author of The Joy of a Word Filled Family and other books.
Joel Rosenberg has been interviewed on hundreds of radio and TV programs, including ABC's Nightline, CNN Headline News, FOX News Channel, The History Channel, MSNBC, The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Sean Hannity Show, and The Glenn Beck Show. He has been profiled by the New York Times, the Washington Times, the Jerusalem Post, and World magazine. He has addressed audiences all over the world, including those in Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Russia, and the Philippines. He has also spoken at the White House, Pentagon and to Members of Congress.
For over 30 years, Mark has embraced a vibrant ministry of theological education and pastoral leadership. In addition to serving as the President of Dallas Theological Seminary, Mark has ministered at Southwestern College. He has authored such texts as To Follow Him: The Seven Marks of a Disciple and Nelson's New Testament Survey.
Dr. Hayes Wicker graduated from Grand Canyon University with his BA in Behavioral Science. Dr. Wicker went on to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity Degree and Doctor of Ministry Degree. Dr. Wicker has been in the pastorate since 1970 working as a youth pastor and senior pastor. He currently serves as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Naples, Florida. He and his wife, Janet, have three grown children and one grandchild.
